Is the e-toll cost included in the rental price?

No, the driver is liable for all the e-toll passages' costs. However, since 8th January 2023, all the rent-a-car vehicles must be equiped with e-toll device. This is mandatory by law and when renting a rent-a-car vehicle, the driver must automatically adhere to Turiscar’s e-toll service, as better described in clause 7 of Terms & Conditions. For this service you must pay a surcharge identified in Terms & Conditions and Commercial Conditions. This service will allow, through an identifier device owned by Turiscar, the determination of the value of the toll charge with a view to its collection in the context of the electronic toll services provided at the road infrastructures duly equipped to this end, with the driver being the sole party responsible for full payment of the value thereof during the Agreement validity period.
